I'm an amateur: I don't walk or ride on a regular basis & I hate running, but in 2007 I walked 420km in the Weekend to End Breast Cancer, 60km in 2006, & I rode in the 2009 Ontario Ride to Conquer Cancer (210 km). Add to that the training (which wasn't too intense) I'm about 2000km into my journey around the world. I have a 60km walk in September & I'm riding again in 2010 Ontario & Quebec (approx 500 km total). I'm about to start an exercise regime... now I have another goal: a world journey! |
